A visionary leader behind Prakrit Advisors, Vinay is a strategic finance & investments professional who brings over 20 years of experience wherein he has consistently demonstrated a sector-agnostic approach, successfully navigating diverse business environments, including startups.
Vinay has spent over a decade year in India wherein he got opportunities to carve out his experience while working with global majors like Ambuja Cement, iCAN investment Advisors, Enam securities/Axis capital.
Interestingly, in UAE as well, Vinay has spent close to a decade and has worked with organization like Al Naseer Holdings, Daman Investments, BILDCO, Mubadala Investments Company (SWF-Abu Dhabi).
Throughout his career, Vinay has assumed vital roles in managing Corporate finance, Investments & Funding hence a strong association with Financial Institutions and prominent Investment Banks is a natural extension. The relations start with seasoned Indian & Global VC’s on one side and Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) on the other. Vinay finds joy in fostering innovative concepts and engaging with visionary founders who possess expansive thinking abilities. Outside of collaborating with entrepreneurs, Vinay loves playing sports, reading and Vipassana meditation practice.

Vineet has spent over 20 years in the research, data & analytics & sustainability space as a business leader and
entrepreneur. During his journey, he has seen strategic exits as well as led strategic acquisitions. He is an active investor in more than 20 Indian startups as an angel and is also an LP in various funds.
He spent over 6 years at SG Analytics (2016 - 2022) and led the company’s growth as a key player in the data analytics industry. SG Analytics is a provider of high-quality insights, analytics and ESG analytics to marquee global clients across Financial Services, Technology, Media and Healthcare sectors. During this stint, Vineet also spearheaded a strategic investment in a Swiss based impact rating firm.
Prior to this, he was an early member of a niche analytics firm Amba Research (2007 - 2016) , which was acquired by Moody’s in 2014. He played an intrapreneur role there and set up new service lines in commercial lending, compliance and investment banking and worked with some of the best asset managers and banks globally.
He is an avid sports buff and loves to play as well as follow many sports. Vineet is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and live in Pune.
